The act of correcting someone else in a forum (internet or in real life) in a manner where no one else appreciates the correction other than the person doing correcting. Usually the person doing the correction is also factually incorrect.
I had to sit in on a meeting with the corporate executives today. They pretty much spent the whole time congratulating themselves on a job well done and forum farting on one another about technical details of a the project they understood poorly.

A midnight forum is a forum wich is often used on hours close to midnight and usually talk about "dark" topics anonymously
