the feeling of being lost in your own god dam mind not being able to feel okay even if the sun comes up because the sun does not shine in your head or it when your head is a play ground when all your angry and sandiest combines in to one and you can feel the pain anymore
depression is not an illness because if it was it because of your self and the way you get depression is from people so don't you dare say it an illness

Adam: “Joe has depression”
Harry: “Do you mean the big sad? And who is Joe”
Adam: *grins and whispers* “Joe Mamma”

We all think we know how it feels. But yo don't know the half of it. It's thought of as a mental burden. That's wrong. You can't do anything right. Eat, sleep, work, it's all impossible to do. Please don't take this lightly.
"Are you okay?"
"Well, actually, I think I have depression."
"That's okay. How about I get yo some ice-cream and it will be all better"
It doesn't work that way.

Feeling empty, like your life doesn't matter in the world. That you were just a mistake, and that God put you on this plant as a joke or an accident. The feeling of being trapped and full of emotions. Feeling like you're stuck in pure darkness without anyone to guide you back into the light. Like you're alone and forgotten. Leading you to self-harm and suicide. The feeling that no matter how hard you try you'll never be good enough, especially to love.
As she walked to class alone, all her thoughts in her head were out of control. Before she got to class she burst out into tears and hid in the bathrooms crying in a corner. Her depression got the best of her.
