A plate of food (usually wrapped in aluminum foil) you bring home to gramma or granpa from a family function or celebration they were too old to attend. Usually, the intended recipient really hates this and only accepts it with a grimace and mumbled words.

Bretty give ham to his friends then offered Pity ham to the other people at the break table.
Brett: Hey guys do you want some ham I smoked over the weekend?
Friends: yes that sounds amazing, Thanks
Brett: “the next day” oh I forgot about you guys working across the street, would y’all like some ham?
Forgotten People: No thanks we don’t like Pity Ham.

When you give daps, or props, to someone out of pity because they feel you should have appreciated what you did for them.
“I fixed it and you didn’t even notice.” (Person then tries to give you daps) “Don’t give me pity daps.”
