HMOFA (human male on female anthro) is a genre of romantic and/or pornographic fiction involving a male human and a female anthropomorphic/furry character. In most examples of works in this genre, the human character has minimal defining traits in both appearance and personality, as to make it easier for the audience to project onto him. It is primarily popular on 4chan and other spaces outside the mainstream.
