A "requirement" in every college.
9 times out of 10 it doesn't teach you anything important or things you need to get a job.
Can be shortened to "gen ed".

Guy: Yo dude, I'm taking all general education courses this semester
Dude: Damn, that must suck ass my guy
Guy: Yeah it does
After the semester passes
Guy: Dude, I learned absolutely nothing this semester
Dude: That's general education for ya

Gene cup

When a geographical area has nothing to offer and everybody with the ability to leave moves out. This leaves a very small dating pool for those that remain. Thus, instead having a gene pool, the area has a gene cup which leads to inbreeding.

My great aunts teacher was influenced by reading Shakespeare who then influenced my aunt who in turn influenced her best friend who made a painting reflecting this influence which was exhibited at a museum...this story records the cultural genealogy of the painting. The aunt, the teacher, her best friend and the painting are all by this definition regarded as entities
