American Eagle

A popular, good quality store that sells fashionable and generally affordable clothes to today's youth. Generally mis-labeled as a "prep store" despite the fact that an actual prep wouldn be caught dead wearing AE or anything like that. Cheaper than places like abercrombie and Hollister Co., with a more conservative and clean- cut style. Ignorant people who hate the so called popular kids in school (that generally wear these sort of clothes) like to bash this store, disgracing websites like urbandictionary.com. In addition AE has a GUYS SECTION, so just because a guy (like me) likes to wear clothes from this store DOES NOT make them gay or bisexual.
Yes i wear American Eagle, you have a problem with that?

Victim-American

n. Any American that feels that they have been treated unfairly and that everyone, society, and the government owes them something because of their race, age, sexual orentation, religion, sex, etc and uses this excuse at every opportunity.

These people blame all of their problems on this excuse instead of taking resposibilty for their own life and actions.

You can frequently see Victim-Americans standing in line for food stamps, welfare, government housing, utility assistance, and also at the liquor store cashing their disability check.
"I grew up poor in a predominantly black neighbohood, so it's not my fault I'm a criminal. I'm a victim (Victim-American) of the system and white man is keeping me down."

"A black man got the job instead of me (a Victim-American) just because of affirmitive action. It's not fair."

"It's not my fault I'm gay (a Victim-American), I was born this way. It's not fair that the government won't let me get married."

"Why get a job? I have 3 kids by 3 different baby daddies (a Victim-American), it's easier to collect welfare and live in section 8 housing than it is to work. The government owes me."

American Dream

An image originally created in the late 1950's and 1960's. Innocent by nature but commonly deplored by those who cannot achieve it or don't agree with capitolism.

The stereotypical American Dream is to marry that perfect someone, move into the classical surburan house, with a front yard, a garage & drive way, a white picket fence. You have a dog, a cat, and several kids. On weekends and summers you barbeque in your yard while your kids play on a tire swing and build a tree fort. Sometimes the American Dream is associated with the Corvette which is commonly known as the American Dream Car, because of it's long legacy of American muscle and great performance.

These assests are ideally attained by working hard to someday become financially stable enough to afford simple luxuries without worrying about it. This does not mean that you become rich suddenly, or buy the fastest car upright, it means that as you work hard over time, you get more money and improve on what you already have. Such as moving into a larger home, buying a faster car, and being able to support an additional child.
My version of the American Dream is to become a civil engineer, marry my highschool sweat heart, buy a nice sized Spanish styled house in San Diego, CA and drive a new 2005 Mustang.
