Reference from Song "Thug Waffle" by flat bush zombies but has been also been referenced in "Basketball Dreams Remix" by Sleepy Hallow featuring Eli Fross; Its is unsure of the true orgins of the term.

Referring to American currency as "Dead nigga" because the currency has American figures such as Benjamin franklin that have passed away.

This can be controversial and extremely comical as the American figures on American currency are not infact "Dead niggas" as they are not of African descent but still in fact are dead; hence still Dead Niggas.
