The feeling of being shocked yet unsurprised by a persons horrendous actions, as though their behavior aligns with a grotesque yet familiar pattern.

I get a feeling of schreckpectation every time I look at Elon's feed on X.

Man, this next 4 years is going to be full of schreckpectation.

With all this schreckpectation, its just dulling the pain of it all.
