business casual friday

The term used by places of buisiness that allow the employees a slackening of the dress code on the final day of the work week. Commonly known as "Biz Cas Fri". Well, not really.
"Oh, how I love to wear unique-colored pants and a belt full of metal squares rather than just plain khakis on BUSINESS CASUAL FRIDAY."

The 'Casual Friday' Effect

When one person, or a small group of people, abuse or break a code, rule, or law, which in turn ruins privileges for everyone, both directly and indirectly involved. Shoplifting, unnecessary texting and phone calls while driving, and people making bombs out of their fucking shoes on airplanes cause the rest of us to suffer on a daily basis from The ‘Casual Friday’ Effect.
Example 1: From The Office episode “Casual Fridays.”

Toby: “Casual Fridays are canceled… There’s not a single appropriate outfit in this whole (office) except mine, quite honestly.”

Toby canceled Casual Fridays after Meredith wore a dress that was too small, exposing her breast (and then some) when Toby suggested ‘pulling it down a touch.’

Example 2:

Girlfriend: “What took you so long?”
Boyfriend: “Ugh. I had to buy refills for my MACH3 Turbo.”
Girlfriend: “I know, right? I usually have to wait about fifteen minutes for someone to unlock the case at Target when I need more Britney Spears’ Curious. Damn The 'Casual Friday' Effect!”

casual gamer

1. Organisms that usually support only PlayStation or XBox consoles(never both). Only playing sports games and hyped games with no real deep sensible gameplay, they strive to get the hottest new games with nothing but graphics going for it.

2. Creatures who criticize certain games that "wouldn't appeal to them" without even playing them. (Mainly Nintendo games)

3. VH1 and MTV supporters.

4. "Gamers" that will eventually bring the downfall to the gaming industry if us true gamers don't do something about it.
I hope casual gamers aren't let into Heaven, for their ignorance and obliviousness will be the downfall of my afterlife as well!

Casual Friday

1) wearing casual clothing (jeans, t-shirt) on a Friday.

2) a practice common with high schoolers where you don't wear underwear under your pants on Friday. It's really funny and really is only funny to the people that do it. But none the less, it's not as weird as you'd think.
Person: "Emily, are you doing Casual Friday today... because I noticed you're not wearing a skirt like usual."
Me: *laughs hysterically* do you even NEED to ask?

Casual Gamer

A person who playes games when they have the time, and doesn't commit their life to them.

Casual Gamers tend to buy the console that has the widest selection of games, is the cheapest, and is talked about the most. The games they tend to play are simple games that are like everyday life, such as sports titles or the Sims.

Sony has been the main console of casual gamers, and is really the company that invented them. About 80% of their sales have been made to casual gamers.

However, it looks as if this will change soon. At the time of the writing of this definition, Nintendo is taking the aproach of simple games and a cheap console, which is what casual gamers tend to go for. The interface of the new console is even more simple then the controller that most are use to. Also, the high price of the Ps3 is making people uneasy about buying the system.
I don't like casual gamers, I think I'll post a rude entry on Urban Dictionary.
