okay. i know that there are quiet a few definitions of scene, but here's mine:

A scene person is like emo, only brighter. everything *must* be about them. they tease their hair, normally spending hours on it and often spend nearly an hour on their eye makeup.

How to be scene:
- get your hair cut choppy and layered
- start wearing *tight* skinny jeans
- wear a lot of eyeliner
- wear many colorful braceletes
- tease your hair (make your head look fat)
- wear little girl bows (cuz their so cute. :D )
- wear tight tee shirts with band logo's or such things as dinosaurs on the front. kids shows works just as well. ex: Ben 10.
- wear converse.

- you can wear a bright, multicolored jacket
- tutu's fit in perfectly :)
- make strange facial expressions and hand movements (it's just so much fun :D )
- be hyper
- take pictures from a down angle
- dying parts of your hair strange colors is good
- have a dark hair color, such as brown or black
- make sure your hair falls over part of your face!
- listen to bands such as Dot Dot Curve:) and Nickasaur!
-Be obsessed with Nightmare Before Christmas stuff and Gir

Emo, or emotive hardcore is a music genre. Not a label for teens. Scene, is the right word to use if you're going to label somebody. Emo is the music. Scene is the style. They might also call themselves 'radd'.

Those guys you might call 'emo' are actually 'scene', you labeling fool.

"Scene" is a bunch of conformists who choose to dress like their choice of music. That think they are expressing their own individulaity when they all LOOK THE SAME.

Girl Pants..Well they made those for a reason, and if you really can fit your penis in there than well you know the rest.

They like to "hardcore/slam dance"..well you guys look like a bunch of apes when you do it. I can't even go to a show without getting kicked in the head, and I can stand where ever I want too, get over it. YOU DON'T OWN THE VENUE.

Obessesion with guns, you can't even shoot one ladies.

Retro stuff like robots, polka dots, bright colors.

Piercings- YOU AREN'T GOING TO WANT THOSE WHEN YOU ARE OLDER GET OVER IT.

Phrases they say "kthx, hawt, ___Xcore, etccc"

XXX WAS FOR PORNO ORGINALLY.

BRINGING BACKPACKS TO SHOWS, GOING SOMEWHERE? NO I DIDN'T THINK SO.

usually listen to emo, hardcore (hXc) music. wears studded belts, 'drainpipe' jeans, converse all star "chuck taylors", dyed black hair, sometimes with blonde streak. haircut -very choppy, strangely layered, short - even girls. lots of black eyeliner, big side fringe, only showing one eye. lip pierced on one side. replaces I with 1, O with 0, E with 3, etc.

Alright, so there are some missconceptions surrounding scene. Well first off scene kids and emo kids are not the same. Emos are intraverted emotional wrecks(or at least they wish they were) whilest the scene kids are normally overly extraverted and in your face. All scene girls are bitches, or at least try to be. A scene kid is different from a scene whore. A scene whore is someone, mostly girls, who go to the local scene to pick upi guys or band members, not because they like the music. Scene girls take 687465873 pics of themselves from odd angles and in black and white with large amounts of brightness and contrast and post them on myspace. While scene boys take pics of themselves making out with other boys. Most scene kids have multicoloured hair and it is short and spikey at the back. So there you have it, the scene kid.

a group of usually annoying teenagers who love label themselves. they like to think they're original when really they all look, act, talk and think the same. they usually have short choppy hair and wear eyeliner, whether they be a boy or girl. they're all camera whores who take pictures of themselves from obnoxious angles, usually make an "uh-oh" face with their hand almost covering their mouth. they would die if they didnt have a myspace, which they spend hours on trying to make look "scene". most of them are either gay or bisexual with lip or nose rings. they love to make xanga families with people they will never meet. and they also say "like WOAH" or "rawrr." or "xcore" or "omfgz" in every single fucking sentence.

omfgzz! im so scenexcore like WOAH! LOLOLZZ i need to get a brain.
