Rule 35

Peace is good for business - Ferengi Rule of Acquisition Rule 35. Often confused with Rule 34, which states that war is good for business.

Quark corrected Lt. Dax on how Rule 35 was that peace was good for business, not Rule 34 as she previously believed.

Rule 35

Refers to Rule 35 of Federal Sentencing guidelines, specifically paragraph B, "Reducing a Sentence for Substantial Assistance," which makes provision for reduction of sentence to those who aid the police.

All this other porn crap about Rule 35 is completely wrong and idiotic.

Billy took the stand and testified against Marcus in order to receive a deal from the court systems to reduce his own sentence via Rule 35.
