A sexplosion occurs when a person's sexual behavior, previously hidden, suddenly becomes known to others. Usually with the generation of high drama and or bad publicity in an extreme manner.

I see more and more elected officials experiencing sexplosions when their wives found out about their mistresses and decide to go public with it.
