Get the Fruit Scalemug. A scale party is a social gathering among friends or acquaintances, typically held after a bulk purchase of items such as food, spices, or other goods that are sold at a discount in large quantities. During a scale party, the purchased items are weighed out using a scale and then divided into smaller portions among the attendees, allowing everyone to take home a fair share of the goods. Participants may also use the occasion to sample the items and share recipes or tips. The scale party is a fun and practical way to save money by purchasing in bulk while also fostering a sense of community among friends.
Last weekend, me and my buddies got together for a scale party to divvy up some spices we bought in bulk, and it was awesome! We weighed everything out, tried some new flavors, and had a great time hanging out and catching up.

Get the Scrumi scalemug. Much like the Richter Scale measures the strength of an earthquake, the Hitchcock Scale measures the strength of a sneeze. The scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest. A sneeze measuring 1 is basically that of a very polite grandmother, barely a "psst." Whereas a 10 is a sneeze that results in death.
Sandy: "God bless you!"
Jon: "Thanks... that was at least an 8 on the Hitchcock Scale. I sharted and I'm still seeing spots."

Get the Hitchcock Scalemug. The Scoble Scale is a Software Engineering term invented to fill the need to accurately describe your annoyance level to other co-workers. This is based on the Scoville Scale used to measure the pungency of peppers, which is based on a subjective rating by test subjects. In this case, the subjectivity is because annoyances can differ between people, but at least there's still a way to communicate it.
1 Scoble Unit is equal to the annoyance perceived from taking a 45 min train ride into town for a meeting organized by a manager that takes less than 5 minutes to conclude, then have to ride the train back.
Since the scale is subjective, it theoretically has no upper limit, but for the sake of simplicity we try to cap it to 11.
