Being accepted to a high-priced university, but receiving $0 in aid, scholarships, etc.

I got in to BU, but the financial rejection letter of $0 aid money soon followed. Hooray for working your ass off for 12 years only to attend the shitty state school of your dreams!

Beacon Reject

A term students at the white supremacist high school "beacon" yell at students from Brooklyn Tech to attempt to enforce their so called "superiority". Lead psychologists believe this is a coping mechanism to compensate for the crushingly overwhelming fact that they know they will end up at BMCC or be forced into coercing their parents to pay their way into college. In doing so, said students consequently refuse to acknowledge that the only criteria to acceptance into beacon high school is to be tall, white, and skinny.

Did they really just chant Beacon Rejects from the bleachers when they know damn well we're Stuy Rejects??
