An event that is being reported as the end of the world or life as we know it, but is really just turning out to be grossly inconvenient to the masses.

I can't go to a gym or dine-in a restaurant. Plus I had to cancel my Italian vacation. This Covid-19 outbreak is a real apocalynconvenience.
