Belt to Ass Music (BTA Music)

Belt to ass music (or BTA Music for short) is a newer genre or sub-genre of Drill Music that has came up recently speaking on "spanking opps" or "laying belt" which is slang for k*illing opps or enemies. This genre is reserved only for real k*llers and cannot be easily adopted by somone who isn't really about it. BTA Music is similar to drill music but different in the way of the beats being more upbeat and usually sampled heavily or even taken in their entirety from older rap songs from prominent artists. Rapping is usually very fast and funny metaphors often are used to clown the opposition. BTA Music is much more high speed and is more a reflection of the era and what is currently going on in the streets such as cars being easier to steal and full auto guns being easier to aquire in this modern age.

Basically what happened to MTV over the first 25 years of the 21st century, from their slow switch to Reality shows from Music oriented programming ending at the shutdown of the remaining linear music only MTV channels like MTV hits, music, live, 80s, 90s and 00s in 2026. The saying is a spin on the first thing MTV aired, the music video for Video Killed the Radio Star by the Buggles
