Pruitting

(v) finding oneself bleeding at extremely inconvenient times (often in public places without access to medical supplies) on a regular basis. Not just once or twice, but frequently. People subject to Pruitting are often those who consider themselves injury prone. The origin of the blood may be known (reopening a preexisting battle wound, scraping ones knee, etc.) However, in order to truly find oneself pruitting he or she must have not noticed the source of the injury, and simply noticed blood somewhere on their skin or clothing.

My new white shoes were ruined last week due to a severe case of pruitting on my ankle.

Unnecessary articles, documents, or other materials printed solely for the purpose of being left on the printer to be observed by peers or co-workers.

Worker 1: "Wow, who printed this 40 page article on particle-physics? Someone is really operating on an advanced degree!"
Worker 2: "Don't believe the hype. Nick printed this two days ago and left it just so the boss would see and think he's smart. It's printer-fodder, he's not actually going to read it."

Printer scene

In the movie Office Space, there is a scene where cubicle workers steal the printer from their office and take it out into a field. There, they beat the printer to smithereens using baseball bats and their fists. The "Printer scene" is used among office workers as a fantasy of what they want to be real. It is a term that people who feel locked-up by their jobs use.

If only the printer scene was happening right now.
