This is typically the point where you start standing up on the tips of your toes in order to give yourself that extra inch or so as you long legged strut towards the closest bathroom or equivalent. The implication being Brass, as in Knuckles and Tax, being violence or threat of violence and paying what's due or else. Similar To "F#@% around and Find out" But with a stronger, physical and visual implication.
