The Dark Knight 

A halfway decent movie that came out in 2008. It could have easily been a great movie, if it wasn't dragged out to 3 hours. So many scenes could have easily been eliminated and/or cut short.

Halfway through "The Dark Knight", I decided to take a nap to make it go faster. I woke up right before the credits, and had no regrets.

The Dark Knight 

Full length Batman themed crime drama about crooked asian financiers, lowlife thugs, political maneuvering in unstable times and Batman, who's basically a black clad modern warrior/vigilante who's being attacked by a comically insane clown, the film has references to terrorism, and the Batman mythology in general. Alfred, Commissioner Gordon and the Scarecrow all appear, but seemingly as 'their real life selves' rather than in hideous make-up CGI comic book fantasy fare.

The films a well written, though difficult-to-follow crime thriller by Christopher Nolan, which got mostly hugely positive reviews, and seemed to stand convincingly on its own as a movie project, rather than as a sequel or part of some horrid 'franchise'.

'The Dark Knight' is one of the best films of the year.

The Dark Knight Rises

By far the most anticipated movie of 2012, maybe in history. It's the 3rd and last movie of Christopher Nolan's  brilliant Batman series. It features one of Batman oldest, most known villain- Bane (Tom Hardy) and Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) the movies release date is July 20th 2012.

Guy 1: Did you see the teaser trailer for The Dark Knight Rises?? Jim Gordan looks pretty beat up.

Guy 2: yeah it's Bane that little son of a bitch! Batman will put him in his place.
