Shadowman

The badass robot-space-ninja from Mega Man 3 on the NES. After his defeat, you obtain his Shadow Blade, which is arguably the best weapon in the game. Dr. Wily obviously couldn’t build anything so cool, at least not until the creation of Zero, so how DID Wily build Shadowman? He didn’t. Over 20,000 years before Mega Man 3 takes place, Shadowman was part of an extraterrestrial line of robots called the Kuiper Droids, given orders from Terra from Mega Man V for the Gameboy. All of the Kuiper Droids were destroyed, except Shadowman, who landed safely on Earth and went offline, leading to Wily’s discovery and modification of him over 20,000 years later.

Shadowman is way cooler than Metalman.

Being of poor or flimsy quality. Inferior, buggy, and unstable.

Shadowban

In PC or Console gaming, this is when those who are caught cheating, hacking, or modding, are still allowed to play the game, but are placed on servers that only contain other cheaters, hackers, and/or modders. An example of a developer using this practice would be the Dark Souls Franchise.

I modded my weapon to do extra damage in Dark Souls, I got caught and now I've been shadowbanned.
