As a child if you were subjected to daddy beatings and they got severely worse after a few pints of Stella, you probably decided you wanted to be a total cunt and pop a pride flag up on your wall and force your false grammar and idea of pronouns down other's throats.

Hence the reason to why we call them mental illnesses because they would be nothing but normal members of society if they didn't get bested by their Daddy's beloved Stella Artois'.

I have been diagnosed with The Beach (Mental Illness). I have episodes where I believe there is a beach. In reality, there is no such thing.
