case of the mentions

when someone constantly brings up a crush/significant other in conversation. usually at the start of a new relationship.

more prevalent in females. usually most severe when in small groups made up of friends of the same sex.

friend 1: "i'll have a bud light."
friend 2: "oh, that's john's favorite beer, too!"
friend 1: "you've got a severe case of the mentions!"
friend 2: "i'm sorry! he's just so wonderful. i can't stop thinking about him!"

(n.) 1. A break from one's motherly duties 2. Extended periods of time that one's children spend with their father, usually as a result of a custody agreement. Used to denote only a respite from day to day parental activities not normal duties (i.e. work, household, etc.)

Trance & Dental Medication

The religion of one of David Lynch's characters in the movie, BLUE VEVET, named Frank Booth. Portrayed by Dennis Hopper, Frank Booth inhales nitrous oxide from a cannister. It puts him into a psychotic trance, thus, "Trance and Dental" the dental, coming from the use of nitrous oxide at the dentist. David Lynch is out of his mind, claiming that if we give him(Maharishi Yogi) 7 Billion Dollars, that this will some how bring about world peace is beyond insane. Fortunately, we already know David Lynch IS insane.

mancation

Mancation is an annual event that combines beer, steak dinners, beer, hiking & biking, beer, several rounds of golf, beer, and never reading a map or asking for directions with a group of guys who have been frineds for years. Ultimately, it's not entirely impossible to be eaten by a bear.

Larry, Chris & Bill spent fives day in Nashville for Mancation 2005.
