Hohol / Hohols (plural) is alternative form of khokhol / Khokols (plural) Russian: хохол / хохлы (plural)

In Russia, khokhol is used as a derogatory and condescending ethnic slur for Ukrainians, as it was a common haircut of Ukrainian Cossacks.
