A combination of the words "ebony" and "nerd." It is used to describe a black nerd or by a self-identification by black nerds. This term was first coined by the creator of Ebonerd.com and popularized through facebook.

Both Steve Urkel and Carlton Banks are Ebonerds.

The art of ebonics coupled with arm and hand movement, facial expression and body twisting.

Usually a term used in southern NY State Prisons by incarcerated inmates or staff.

Theatrical inmate conversation with another.

"Jive-ass dude was talking ebonetics confronting the counselor".

"Alley-Oop was the block round ball coach; he conversated to the crew in a ebonetics style".
