A major national/world event that causes many people to instantly become butthurt and suddenly develop strong opinions in such topics, especially on social networks. Usually only lasts for one day then is never mentioned again.

Ignorant butthurt fan

When a devoted fan can't digest the fact that his hero's ass was beaten by some other hero/villain, and start giving lame, stupid and illogical arguments like

-"batman used kryptonite, so its not a win its cheating"
-"no one can defeat superman, its writers fault"
-"superman is the most powerful being on the universes, no one can beat him, instead he will destroy the universe "
-"batman wins because he's batman"

Is an "ignorant butthurt fan" and can't be argued, its better to ignore them.

Being butthurt means being aggravated, pissed off, or bugged over something completely trivial. Usually when people are butthurt they are really dramatic about it. Most people like to laugh at or even mock the annoyance of butthurt people because their reasoning for being so butthurt is ridiculously stupid.

Guy 1: Typical Chandler is butthurt again about us drinking one of his beers and hiding his bike.

Guy 2: Yeah, he was really butthurt last night when he lost beer pong and I called him a little bitch.
Guy 1: When will Chandler ever learn to take a joke?

Guy 2: Who cares? Its funny.
