An obsolete slang term coined by lazy and unintelligent people in Southern New Jersey that attempted to "humorously" (quotes intended) merge the terms "dick" and "jerk". Once used as an insult, the term then evolved (as many insults tend to) to be popularized solely amongst its small segment of unintelligent crafters and employed as a term of endearment.
