A mixture of a glare and a blank stare; used to intimidate a person, or sometimes to show pity. Made famous by Salvatore Tessio in "The Godfather"

Is often used when someone insults you or says something stupid.

When he asked "can't you let me off, Tessio? For old time's sake?" He just shook his head, a stony gaze upon his face.

Devoid of pretensions, quarries and night life, Stony Plain has been poised to be "the next big thing" in Upper West Central Alberta for over 125 years.
