An informal term used in Northern England meaning to throw something away (throw it in the bin, garbage or trash).

Person 1: What should I do with this old newspaper? Do you want it?
Person 2: Nah, sling it mate!
Person 1: Okay

Swing it

the act of drifting/sliding on the way out of a car meet.

Can also be used with the name of the car (e.g. he gonna swing his 350z).

Past tense: it was swung.

"I told bro to swing it when he left the meet"

"bro swung his whip into a tree"

What you tell someone they can do. Can be used in place of 'Kiss my ass', 'go to hell', or 'fuck off' etc... Refers to the male genetalia.

"You got a problem? Well fuckin swing on it."

In the automotive context, and popular among the takeover community, when someone asks if the particular vehicle in question has the ability to lose traction on the rear tires under its own power. Essentially asking if it is able to drift/ do donuts/ slide, etc.
