Queersync

Queersync is the phenomenon of consistently and unconsciously gravitating towards other trans/queer individuals in one's life, despite not knowing or recognizing their shared identity until later in life. This term can be used to describe the feeling of serendipity or resonance that comes with discovering shared experiences and identities with others.

I started to realize the queersync in my life - many of my closest friends and past partners also identified as trans, even though we didn't know it at the time.

queertellectual

A queertellectual is used to describe a person well versed in queer theories and able to apply these theories to everyday gay culture references. (As well as fighting patriarchal ideals of homophobia)

For example

Why do gays have so many plants?!

A queertellectual: Because finding healthy love is difficult due to internalised hate brought on by society (and parents) in our youths that the only way we can express our love is to our plants and cats.

I a queertellectual will pull apart every slight homophobic thing you just said.
