LeisureSuits are required to have matching colour top to bottom whilst supporting equal width pinstripes running down the outside of both sleeves & pant legs.

Rod gave Rosemary a mouthful for only washing the top half of his LeisureSuit.

"Wanna come round for a BBQ Derrick?"
"Sure Sharron, what's the attire?"
"Your stylish LeisureSuit should be fine"

Vicarious Leisure

Excess consumption by an auxiliary member of the leisure class. This is referenced in Thorstein Veblen's "The Theory of The Leisure Class". His most prominent example is described as a wife of a member of the leisure class.

Through vicarious leisure, she enjoyed the fine accoutrements provided by the vast wealth of her husband.

Gentleman of Leisure

A man who derives a living from their own finacial assets or has other sources of irregular income leaving them financially secure without any typical employment, duties, or financial responsibilities. Such a man may be self-made or they may be the result of inheritance. A true gentleman of leisure enjoys a high quality of life involving mostly recreation and leisure activity, and often prides himself as a playboy, adventurer, or a gentleman gambler. While most are wealthy enough to remain without occupation they will often portray occupation with some line of work such as an investor, speculator, business owner, professional gambler, or even being involved in some sort of illegal or illicit trade.

After making ridiculous amounts of money by selling his design to a large company, Tom now fancies himself a gentleman of leisure. He spends most days hanging around the pool reading The Wall Street Journal, and spends his nights at the club either drinking with ladies or playing high stakes poker in the back room.

Rocky Mountain recreational leisure class

A unique sub-genre of {trustafarians} whose lives revolve around recreating in their adopted ski towns within the Rocky Mountain region. Highly privileged with inherited wealth and good looks, they live a life of recreation and leisure centering around overpriced gear, Sprinter vans, and Breweries. If they work it is at a non-profit which their parents donate heavily to, all this is done for {virtue signaling} reasons on social media. Their money gentrifies these communities and drives the working class to satellite communities. Having a worldview so myopic and self centered, their idea of an injustice is not being able to ride their bike exactly where they want. Dog poop on the trail is the most difficult thing any of them will have to deal with today. Their life has been so easy they have to make recreational challenges to add a feeling of consequence and challenge to an otherwise consumptive existence of vanity and social networking with members of their same economic class. Contact with members of the working class is limited to when their vehicle, otherwise known as their play chariot, needs new tires. Moving quickly from recreation bubble to recreation bubble and remaining ignorant to current events, the RMRLC can maintain their whimsical and fantastical vision of an adult playground complete with toys of unlimited excess. A reality where adrenaline mixes with copious amounts of THC and a topper of craft microbrews from their trustfund friends brewery.

If a tree fell in a forest and a Rocky Mountain recreational leisure class individual was not there to ride on top of it with a titanium endowed piece of equipment, did that tree actually fall?

Leisure Gangster

A Leisure Gangster, aka "LG", is NOT to be confused with the Gangster. Nor does the term represent any connection to the mafia, however organized crime is widely accepted in this catagory. The Leisure G is more closely related to the Thug but has unique qualities listed as follows:
1. Their loose/baggy apparel and/or chain(s) are not for show, only comfort and security
2. Their personality is extremely laid back and reserved
3. Any situation life throws at them is handled in a calm, smart, and proactive way
4. They feel no need to impress anybody but themselves, which can also be a potential weakness in some cases.
5. Their ultimate goal in life, as well as on a day-to-day basis, is to achieve a state of complete relaxation. To be stress-free
6. As calm and serene as they are, they are not to be messed with or taken advantage of, for doing so WILL result in the most severe of consequences
7. They have NO regrets
LG's appear to be loners due to the struggles they are facing because they NEVER let their problems become anybody else's business; however this fact may be misleading in that they will often have a wide network of friends expanding into all or most 'groups,' 'cliques,' or 'posses' in any given area. They are like the friendly and lovable teddy bears of the community who will murder you if they are squeezed the wrong way. They are all about quick and simple solutions, and live today like there is no tomorrow.

-I heard that guy had his ex's house robbed and trashed, is he really that much of an asshole?
-She was cheating on him. Despite his ghetto and incriminating appearance, he's actually a pretty nice guy. Look at him now, happy and without a care in the world... thats a true Leisure Gangster.
