cold air intake

A cheap way of adding horsepower, though not as much as ricers say they make. Usually add 5-8 on a four pot, 10-15 for a six and 15-30 for an 8. (K&N)

People often install them because they are a much cheaper (however less effective) alternative to turbocharging or supercharging. (Can also accompany a turbo and/ or a supercharger)

That civic has a cold air intake and a fartcan

I can't afford to turbo my car so I got a cold air intake

That GTP is nice it has a supercharger stock and the owner added a cold air intake

Meaning Awesome, Incredible, extraordinary, etc. Used in mostly the 70s and the 80s. Positive connotation. Used as an adverb modifying only adjectives. This word does not find its way in modern speak much anymore.

Intangibles

A cliche used by sports media to describe aspects of a player's game or personality which cannot be tracked by statistics.

This usually refers to leadership qualities or enthusiasm for the game.

Shane Battier is a true leader who brings intangibles to the table.

Colton Smith has insane upside as well as great intangibles.

While it's true that he puts up stats, he just doesn't have any intangibles.

When someone is so beautiful that words cannot even explain him/her and they feel and look like a god/goddess and an angel combined and just looking at a photo of them makes you feel weak like you need to sit down but at the same time giving you so much happiness and energy you can produce a smile so big it hurts.
