Foogaboom

A term to describe an act of deception, a scam, or a bogus product.

The term originated in Central Louisiana in the 1990's and was originally used to describe counterfeit crack cocaine intended to fool drug purchasers. The term also appeared in court documents filed in the Court of Appeals case, 'State of Louisiana vs. Albert Jones', May 17, 1995. As crack became less popular, the term lived on. The term is currently used to describe deceit, dishonesty, or scams. And of course, counterfeit dope.

"He tried to foogaboom me." "This ain't dope, this just foogaboom."

The ultimate utility word, generally used in Indiana. It can literally mean everything or nothing.

Ex.1:"Man my day has been so bad its been... fogator."
Ex.2: "I just ate a sandwich that was so delicious man, it was fogator."
Ex.3:"Jeremy why did you kill that man?" "Fogator"
