Fylleangst

Fylleangst means the feeling of fear of what you could have done in a preceding blackout caused by alcohol.
A common and unique word in Norway, not known to exist in any other language than Norwegian. This uniqueness is probably caused by the Norwegian drinking culture, socially awarding the one who gets most drunk, and showing disgust against modest drinkers.

I woke up with the worst fylleangst this morning. As I was about to call the friends I remember I was with last night to find out what I did after the blackout kicked in, I could see I had a text message that read "hey!what's up with greasing your balls in with peanut butter, and letting MY dog lick them clean?!?if you're wondering what I, or what the rest of Mankind in general think of it: SOOO WRONG!!"

Script Filler

a scene in a movie that doesn't advance the plot. usually involves no dialogue or a music montage... to add time to the movie for it to match the length of a feature film (90 minute quota)

a good example is in Horror movies, where a character will enter a long dark hallway and it leads to a few minutes of nothing but a dark shot of "dead air" with no dialogue and little suspense... leading up to a small 'jump scare' from wind blowing a door shut.

Guy says: "that was total script filler, nothing significant came out of that 4 minute scene"

"i could have skipped that scene and not missed anything important to the plot"

Slick Filler

Remarks made by a person while in conversation with one or more people that may or may not have any bearing on the current subject being discussed.

Slick filler is a manipulation tactic used by a person to camouflage their ignorance about what's being discussed, or to deflect, direct, redirect, dismiss, draw attention too, or mock, what's being discussed.

Slick filler is basically random sound bites injected into conversation at any time, that can be about any subject, for any reason, including no reason at all.

Slick filler can also just be BULLSHIT

M.K. and I couldn't take another minute of Mara and her mind numbing slick filler about Botox, boob jobs, and poetry.

essentially someone who looks beefy in a tshirt, fills the sleeves, but is non-the-less a fat guy in reality. Hundreds of shirt fillers go to your local gyms.

girl: "that guy is jacked!"

Boy:"no actually, come beach time you would realize he is just a shirt filler"

the position has been filled

decl. Innuendo given to a job applicant that s/he is under-qualified and will not be hired, despite the fact that nobody else before the applicant had by then previously chosen for the position.

It's amazing how I've sent my resume to several different startups and other larger companies -- And they all tell me that the position has been filled ... even with the job posting still kept up!!
