A term used by non drug users to describe drug users.

Someone with a personality that resembles drug use, such as appearing to not care about anything, and often appear with cheap clothes and beanies. BUT are commonly mistaken for using drugs when they are simply very laid back people. Also could be spelled "druggy".

Jeff looks like such a druggie with those clothes.

Someone on drugs in the present tense and not in the past tense, someone who is an addict now.

Saying that someone that is not on drugs now is a druggie instead of was a druggie is getting in their head, since it is a false statement.
