Chubabee

The act of using phonetic jibberish to replace actual words, most commonly when forgetting a song's lyrics while singing it in a live setting. Vince Neil of Motley Crue is a pioneer of this practice, along with David Lee Roth during his tenure with Van Halen. It is also common to hear people chubabee while singing karaoke

"We were all singing along to 'Sweet Caroline' on the radio, but I had to chubabee once we got to the verse. Does anyone actually know the words?"

The Chumbawumba

Succession of drinks that is based upon the popular 90's song "Tubthumping (I get knocked down)" by the band Chumbawumba. Where one drinks first a shot of whisky, then a shot of vodka, then a lager (beer), and finally a drink of hard cider, in quick succession. This is taken directly from the lyric in the song " I drink a whisky drink, I drink a vodka drink, I drink a lager drink, I drink a cider drink. The Chumbawumba is always announced by the chanting "Chumba, Wumba, Chumba, Wumba!"

"Yo man have you seen John?"
"Yea he is passed out in the corner. He did the Chumbawumba earlier tonight.
