to create, or to cause to be created, discordant or harsh sounds, typically at a high decibel level

Right now it isn’t raining but it is rather windy. Once in a while, a big gust will disturb a roost of Common Mynas at the top of a nearby palm tree and they’ll cacophonize for a while.

The act of disliking people whom act camp.

It is common for someone who dislikes a camp persons behaviour to be criticized for being homophobic, particularly if the person behaving camp is homosexual. However more often than not, it is not that the person dislikes that they are homosexual, it is that they do not like the hightened, over-the-top, feminine behaviour. Rather than a person being wrongly criticized for being homosexual, the term campophobia can be used.

I'm not homophobic, I'm campophobic.
I have campophobia, not homophobia.
