College town in Colorado that in recent years has become a commuter parking lot due to a housing jobs imbalance. The homes crossed the million dollar mark and there are tons of cars inbound daily and the infrastructure can’t handle the load of cars everywhere
On the weekends Boulder is dead, but first thing Monday mornings Foothills Parkway is clogged and so is Us-36 and Diagonal Highway.

A city north west of Denver. Known to many who come there and want to be cool as the bubble. It is a very active town, many athletes come there to train for the high elevation and hip trendy happenings. Many athletes will also come there because they are bike racers that arent any good but think by moving to boulder they will be good, and at least be able to name drop. Home to many past and present professional cyclist: Scott Moninger, Chris Baldwin, Tyler Hamilton, Chris Wherry (born there now a resident of Durango CO) Chuck Coyle, Go Go. Andrew the terminator Bajadali and many more. Several current or former pros have also lived there such as Dan Schmatz, Alex candelario and Jeff corbett. Many australian athletes come there and steal our women because they talk funny. Reports are coming in recently that former northeaster Hardware NJ state cat 5 champ (reigning and current) Pete Lopinto resides there as well.
this one time, i was riding along in the bubble with Henk, moninger, baldwin and a bunch of other pros and we saw Rory Sutherland riding too, it was so cool, boulder is cool, i am so cool, i put out 45 more watts just living here. someday ill make over 15k
Masters race 1: I might leave my family an set up shop in boulder
Masters racer 2: Why would you do that?
Masters racer 1: i just really think i could get a ride on AEG Toshiba and win masters nationals. Bostick has been coaching me he says the elevation and the quality of riding partners will make me better.
