N: The act of whacking a tree, or other woody plant with a shovel, snowplough, weed-whacker or other heavy blunt object and accidentally creating a bonsai. Often happens during intoxication or blunt ignorance of individual.

My father hit the Colorado Blue Spruce tree in the front yard, so now it is a redneck bonsai.
