Chase the Turtle

Chasing the turtle refers to consuming Xanax in order to slow down, or chill. Xanax is often used after using other recreational drugs (with stimulant or insomniac properties) in order to induce sleep or enter a "come-down" period. As a turtle is a slow animal, chasing the turtle naturally means to slow down, usually after a long night of partying.

Hey man, you're pretty wired after doing that blow, maybe you should chase the turtle.

Turtles Factor

A condition affecting something from your youth (such as the live action Ninja Turtles movie) that you remember as being really cool, but upon revisitation, proves not to be very cool at all.

1. Is Crocodile Dundee actually a really good movie, or does it just have a high Turtles Factor?

2. I totally thought that Saved by the Bell was the greatest show ever, but then I wasted $80 on the DVD box set and it turned out to have a harsh Turtles Factor.
