Get the Hipstermug. A person whose style is influenced by many different genres (of dressing). They usually wear lots of flannels and ironic graphic tee shirts, but not always. Sometimes, preppy styles are mixed with casual clothes. When being called a hipster, they always deny it. They either listen to indie rock, alternative rock, hardcore rap, or a really diverse taste of almost anything.
He's such a hipster; I saw him wearing colored skinny jeans at the Vampire Weekend concert in Portland.

Get the hipstermug. A bunch of scrawny, little fellers, that have found the best way to feel good about their loser selves is to congregate with other little scrawny fellers and poke fun at everything and everyone else not in their clique. Most of them had their lunch money taken from them at school every day as youths.
When called upon to defend his girlfriends honor, the hipster was so afraid of a real man he peed his skin tight pants.

Get the Hipstermug. A person who enjoys living in an urban environment. Typically reserved around crowds they do not know (unless it’s a Ridiculous political campaign like Hillary Clinton’s). The men of the hipster society enjoy dressing like really skinny females with their skirt looking shirts and tight skinny jeans. The ladies of the hipster society enjoy wearing very large round glasses (aka ugly mosquito glasses) and like drinking Starbucks.
Occasionally you will find a hipster in a rural environment. You can call those hippies. They are “off the grid” with their non gmo gardens fertilized with cow manure and their pet cows (with they will never eat because they are vegan).
If you do get to know one they are very intelligent and well educated. They also tend to be great people, just don’t bring up pro-life, guns, or Trump

An asian guy that wears 600 dollar Jesus sandals, claims he is a hype beast but he likes PBR, beanies, not washing his skinny jeans, Coachella, music that "is too cool for the radio, " and thinks he can beat everyone in the world at Smash Bros. He usually gets nicknamed Dirty. When you tell these people they are hipsters they try to deny it because to admit one is a hipster is anti hipster.
