Weird foreign juice

Fruit juice purchased from the "ethnic foods" section of a grocery store. Generally garishly labelled in comparison to mainstream products, with all lettering in languages other than English. May make unintelligible exclamatory claims in bright lettering. What can be deciphered from the ingredients list, and the general appearance of the product, may make one question if said product is truly safe for human consumption.

evaporated cane juice

A misleading term used to mask the true identity of sugar in food. It is not healthier than regular sugar but when listed as an ingredient in food products, it fools people into believing they are ingesting a more wholesome alternative.
Let's buy this healthier cereal, it has "evaporated cane juice" instead of sugar in the ingredients!
