Friends in Denial

A relationship between a guy and a girl which has clearly gone far beyond the level of being friends. They text, video chat, hang out, go out together, make out, have been to bed together at least once (most likely they do it all the time....The Sex part). Their feelings for each other are obvious but one party is in denial (most of the time it is the girl) and says they’re just ‘friends’ but it’s clear to everyone that they are not.

Girl 1: “Hey Nainika, I hear that you and Rishi are together now”

Nainika: “No. We are just friends”

Girl 2: *whispers to girl 1* “They are friends in denial. She always denying it but they are always together, one time a guy walked in on them doing it in the students room.”

Girl 1: “My goodness!”

When a person lets you down when you ask them out and they say "We're just friends." or "You'll always be a friend."

Person A doesn't like Person B because Person A believes that there just friends. Person A rejects Person B on dating each other because Person A believes there just friends. This is a example of being friend zoned

1) they won’t talk to u if they are around “popular people”
2) they don’t invite you to something because you are “not popular enough” or “embarrassing”
3)they only talk to you if they need something not if you do
4) they “pretend” to like u

5) they don’t ever include u in anything

If any of those apply you have got urself a FAKE FRIEND

They are all such fake friends like they never include me in anything ever.
