To tear into something with no regard to preserving or reusing the original packaging. Such as ripping open a pack of cookies so that the resealable closure is useless. At first glance, it may appear that a package has exploded rather than having been opened. Most commonly perpetrated by teenage boys.

After the kids wallaced into the bag of candy, there were M&M's everywhere.
