To pass one's guilt onto another person in order to alleviate your own guilt. Often done when one sees someone is indirectly at fault in someway for your own guilt.

Facebook Guilt

Defensive reaction to finding out someone is not on Facebook. Usually indicated by the word "just". As in, "I just use it to stay in touch with friends/family".
If I happen to mention that I'm not on Facebook, nine times out of ten someone's Facebook Guilt kicks in, even though I have made no judgement whatsoever.

A useful term for when a character or oc- typically whom considers themselves a guardian of a sort- feels as though they betrayed what makes them belive they are such protectors.
Person A: I killed a dude, but I feel super bad about it, even though they were a bad guy and it was my job...
Person B: Oh— I think that's like... guardian guilt or something..
