a town in illinois that is NOT AT ALL GHETTO YOU STUPID BASTARDS THAT SAY IT IS. We only had wat 2 shootings and drug bust but overall its not ghetto. If you want to see ghetto go to the south side of chicago, now thats ghetto. Also we don't have illegal immigrants so back off. Our town isn't that special but watever thats how we live. The only bad thing around here is our strict police force (not as strict as our neighbor carol stream's police). So don't talk shit about our town especially you glen ellyn kids who get high and drunk (under-age) at your huge house parties cuz u don't know shit about our town so back off.

Glenbrook South

1. Mostly white. Filled with Mexicans. You'll be lucky to spot a black person.Too many Indians and Asians.

2. Better at football than Glenbrook North.

3. Located in Glenview, IL, northern suburb of Chicago filled with white people.

4. Won a grammy for choir.

Kid: Hey wanna play I Spy in my Glenbrook South yearbook for a black kid?

Kid 2: Sure, but how can a school win a grammy?

Kid: I have no idea.

Glen Rock High School

Glen Rock High School:
A nice, old school where the girls are bitches and they guys are horny. A lot of drama takes place at Glen Rock High School. Rivals are Hawthorne and Ridgewood. Kids from Glen Rock are usually rich, stuck-up, and mean people attend Glen Rock High School. GRHS is a very good ascademic high school. They send most of their graduates to colleges. The students are very well-rounded. Sports teams at GRHS are amazing. Most sports teams make it to the counties, and the states. GRHS football is very sucessfull. Most of the teachers at GRHS are nice, but some are not so cool. But overall, GRHS is awesome. You SO want to go there.

Ridgewood Kid: yo dude did you hear about that quarterback on the Glen Rock High School football team?he got player of the year dude.

Hawthorne Kid: dude i know.also,the coach got player of the year.i still hate them though.

Ridgewood Kid:yeah man,me too.they people there are so rude,but the girls are so hot.

Hawthorne Kid: I KNOW MAN, she must be from Glen Rock.

Glen Ridge

Glen Ridge is an NJ Yuppie suburb of Montclair, differentiated from it by being mostly white Catholics from New Jersey pretending to be yuppies despite their otherwise roots. Glen Ridge has the 3rd oldest house age in the country, and is distinguished by its excellent public schools with well-known drug and drinking problems. Almost 85% of the borough of Glen Ridge (population 7,500) is in a Victorian/Early 20th Century Historic District. Cindy Sherman is totally from Glen Ridge, and Tom Cruise spent the last few years of his educational career here, where he started acting. Glen Ridge is also known as the site of "Our Guys", when a number of high school jocks raped a mentally disabled girl and denied that it was rape. This was exacerbated by GRHS covering it up, though they all eventually were convicted. Since then, the jock culture has declined in GR, and though most students are very isolated, the most evil are no longer typically asshole jocks. Part of this is that no male sports team in Glen Ridge is considered prestigious because of a. The efforts of the town to dismantle the jock hierarchy, b. The small size of the town, and c. That everyone is too lazy and stoned/obsessed with their grades to care. The students tend to fall into either of those categories, and all seemed to be obsessed with drugs and alcohol as a shallow way to end their perpetual shelteredness and boredom. GRHSers (whom the town is still known for) are seen by Montclair teenagers as totally sheltered and sadly unhip. Most people are upper middle-class or wealthy, and tend to be people from NJ who lived in the city for awhile and then came back, as opposed to Montclairians, who are from NYC or other parts of the country and then moved to NJ, considering Montclair as the only place they would move to. Glen Ridge was once known for the institutionalized implicit racism of the Glen Ridge Country Club, a now all-but-defunct standard. Adults from GR are called Ridgeroos, while kids are called Ridgers, after the sports teams.

Glencoe

A fairy wealthy small town north of Chicago, IL. The population has a fairly large amount of Jews as do many towns in the area. Many people in the area are kind but you can encounter snooty parents and/or adults every so often.

Kid 1: What did you get for christmas?
Kid 2: Oh, I got.............................................
Kid 1: Oh, Thats cool, I got.................................
Kid 2: Ok, See you later.
Kid 1: Wait! isn't Glencoe awesome.
