some one who will forgive you if you do something stupid, like not talk to them for a whole day because you dont like the decision they made. or a person that has had their bonds of trust broken so many times, and doesnt want to let anyone in, lets you in because they trust you. a friend is a person you can count on when you have problems, and who should be able to count on you. a friend is some one who can call you annoying and say that they need their space from you, and you still want to be around them.

Stephanie: 'you really let me down when you didnt talk to me for all that time. just because i went back out with dillan'

friend with benefits

A common term among those single people in their 30's. Either they are divorced or have been in a serious relationship. Which ever scenario fits, these people do not understand terms such as slut, whore, love at first sight and other uniformed thoughts.

being able to be a friend with benefits means you are more aware of difference between sexual chemistry and conection and can act on it with responsibility. Ever seen Sex and the City? THAT defines it all and in a funny way. I am sure many can relate. After 30 there are no inhibitions and no judgements. A single night of sex between consenting adults is common talk over coffee in the morning with you best girlfriends.
