An Urban Afro-Centric Term used by and for Urban College Educated Black Women. It often denotes a "Prestigious," "Royal," or "Haughty," persona amongst African American Women. This term grew in prominence in the Late 80s - Early 90s with the rise of personalities like Queen Latifah, Dee Barnes, & others. The Term has created a rift amongst Black Men who grew up with Women that took pride in this term. Often seen these Women's hypocritical behaviors and choices in partners as signs these Women aren't that dignified.

Keisha: Man the Women of today ain't like when I grew up.
Tashika: Ya, Girl. These whores giving it up on the first date and everything.
Keisha: Today's sistas really need to educate themselves.
