old people's self-reward

A slang term for extra (hours of recreational) screen time that seniors can easily have as a form of self-reward; whilst children, teenagers, and younger adults are subject to more stringent behavior requirements to obtain the same duration of extra screen time due to the presence of third-party authority (parents, teachers, institutions, and employers)

It's wild how my grandparents can rack up hours of screen time as some kind of old people's self-reward, while I have to jump through hoops just to watch an extra episode!

A Chinese buzzword. In mandrin, it's "剁手党(duoshoudang).
To descirbe someone who is a online shopaholic and he is regret even want to his hands off after he bought a large number of things online in "Double 11(Chinese Blake Friday)".
Kind of self-mocking.

Although there's not much ofa discount, I would still become hands-chopping people anyway.
