Shame is the opposite of pride: it's about being ashamed of who you are. July is the international shame month. it comes right after pride month.

typically an act performed by an out-of-date misogynic male with no respect for a woman's love of shellfish.

The feeling you get afterer a long night or weekend of binge drinking or partying. Usually as a result of getting nothing accomplished the following day. Sinking into an abyss of regret.

Instead of writing my paper for class on Sunday, I stayed in bed and rode out the Shame Spiral I found myself in.

Openly mocking ignorance which could easily be remedied by a simple Google search. Typically passive aggressive and deadpan, Google shaming is often missed by the recipient.
