An item designed by a teacher in the 1800's as a punishment reserved only for his worst students. Now a requirement at most schools, requiring at the very least 1 hour to complete.

Jack: "What did you do last night"
Jill: "I had homework"
Jack: "What did you do to receive such large and horrible punishment?"
Jill: "I killed the teachers entire family"

Jack: "What did you do last night?"
Jill: "Played some video games."
Jack: "But what about homework!"
Jill: "I didn't do it."
Jack: "What do you mean! The teacher is going to kill your entire family now!"

The Obscurely endless amount of paper and pencil writing that will take you 4-5 hours and you only have an hour until bedtime.

but instead you don't do it and set your clock to 4:50 AM tomorrow and then your alarm rings and you don't wake up

hell is rained upon you when you arrive at school at 8:30 AM

Guy 1: Yo dude I finished all my homework and it took 4 hours!
